Bernard Lehmann, agronome dans diff\u00e9rents formats, plan ou hasard ?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pour Bernard Lehmann, ce n’est pas toujours l’un ou l’autre, c’est parfois quelque chose entre les deux. Quels sont les projets ou les hasards de la vie de Bernard Lehmann ? Il nous en a parl\u00e9 lors d’etretien de ASIAT avec son directeur Marcel Anderegg le 23 f\u00e9vrier \u00e0 l’Impact Hub \u00e0 Berne.<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

La recherche de l’optimum dans l’agriculture l’a conduit \u00e0 abandonner son apprentissage agricole. Au lieu de cela, il a pass\u00e9 sa maturit\u00e9 pour poursuivre cette qu\u00eate \u00e0 l’EPF de Zurich en \u00e9tudiant l’\u00e9conomie agricole.
Apr\u00e8s un stage \u00e0 l’Union suisse des paysans (USP) et sa th\u00e8se de doctorat \u00e0 l’EPF de Zurich sous la direction du professeur Dr Peter Rieder, il est retourn\u00e9 \u00e0 l’USP, \u00e0 laquelle il est rest\u00e9 fid\u00e8le pendant encore 7 ans. Il nous a parl\u00e9 de ses t\u00e2ches en tant que collaborateur scientifique.
Sa nomination comme professeur d’\u00e9conomie agricole \u00e0 l’EPF de Zurich a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand honneur pour lui. Durant cette p\u00e9riode, il a notamment travaill\u00e9 sur les th\u00e8mes suivants : Durabilit\u00e9, comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9, \u00e9conomie du d\u00e9veloppement et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire durable. Il a surtout gard\u00e9 un tr\u00e8s bon souvenir des \u00e9changes avec les \u00e9tudiants, les collaborateurs et les collaboratrices et, pour Bernard Lehmann, c’\u00e9tait une \u00ab\u00a0p\u00e9riode fantastique !\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0d’une beaut\u00e9 inoubliable !<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Apr\u00e8s 20 ans \u00e0 l’EPFZ, il est devenu Policy Maker en tant que directeur de l’Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l’agriculture (OFAG). Une rencontre avec le Premier ministre chinois lui a laiss\u00e9 un souvenir particulier de cette p\u00e9riode. Il nous a racont\u00e9 comment ils ont parl\u00e9 d’agro\u00e9conomie dans une \u00e9table d’une exploitation agricole suisse et comment ils ont pris le th\u00e9 ensemble lors d’une autre rencontre \u00e0 Rome. \u00ab\u00a0C’est un bon gars et c’\u00e9tait une belle exp\u00e9rience\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il r\u00e9sum\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le public a demand\u00e9 quel pays \u00e9tait, selon lui, un mod\u00e8le pour la politique agricole suisse. Ses nombreuses exp\u00e9riences \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger lui ont toutefois permis de comprendre que c’est la Suisse qui sert de mod\u00e8le aux autres et non l’inverse. Il trouve que le design des diff\u00e9rentes mesures est particuli\u00e8rement bien choisi.<\/p>\n

Il \u00e9tait et est toujours engag\u00e9 pour un syst\u00e8me alimentaire durable !<\/p>\n

Dans la deuxi\u00e8me partie, Bernard Lehmann nous a parl\u00e9 de l’une de ses t\u00e2ches actuelles en tant que pr\u00e9sident de l’organe de l’ONU High Level Panel of Experts on Food Security and Nutrition<\/em> (HLPE-FSN). Cela fait partie du Comit\u00e9 sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire mondiale<\/em>. C’\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cieux d’en apprendre davantage sur cette t\u00e2che importante et d’avoir un aper\u00e7u du comit\u00e9 et des d\u00e9fis mondiaux de notre syst\u00e8me alimentaire.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
